Drexel University Chapter of the
American Society of Civil Engineers

We are an organization that fosters professional and academic excellence, as well as promote a greater understanding of the industry of civil engineering. We provide opportunities for professional development, networking, and leadership. We bridge the gap between students and professionals by serving as a connection to City, Regional, and National sections of ASCE.

Drexel ASCE

Hello Drexel ASCE Members,

Beginning Saturday, March 14, Student Life is canceling all student organization events until further notice.

All events are on hold until April 30 at the earliest. Please see DragonLink for more information. We are saddened by this news as we had a stellar line-up of events for the spring.

Please note, these recommendations have been made considering the health and safety of the University and Philadelphia community. We will not be hosting external events as the organization may go through the student conduct process.

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding as the university navigates this changing environment to best support our university community.

We wish you all the best. Stay happy and healthy.

Drexel ASCE

A not-so-mini Drexel Reunion!
.
.
.
.
Over this past weekend our leadership team was able to attend the 2-day Multi-Region Leadership Conference (MRLC) for 2020. This consisted of 3 simultaneous workshops that had attendees from all across the eastern seaboard from Regions 1, 2, 4, & 5. Our ASCE chapter attended the Workshop for Student Chapter Leaders (WSCL) located in Center City which has not been here for over 10 years! This workshop included sessions to improve leadership, network with fellow student chapters as well as full-time engineers, and pathway to licensure. It wasn’t all just work; we were able to relax and have fun during the Lucky Strike Social. Next year the conference will be taking place in North Carolina. If you’d like to become more involved in ASCE leadership or become an active member send us an e-mail or DM to make that happen!
